For obvious (read: nerdy) reasons, I’m going with Planck’s violin as such a term. Such as:
Person 1: God, I can’t believe she spent 30 minutes talking about her dog’s intestinal problems.

Person 2: Yeah, that story was totally Planck’s violin.

OR -

You: God, I can’t believe she spent 30 minutes talking about her dog’s intestinal problems.

Me: Yeah, especially since we both already know its because I had anal sex with it.

You: Planck’s violin?

Also, Planck’s Violin doubles as a sweet band name. Dibs!
